Campaigning for her mother, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, Chelsea Clinton answers lots of questions from potential voters at campaign events but never from reporters.
But in Indianapolis on Tuesday, Clinton brushed aside a question from an individual in the crowd who asked for her take on her mother’s handling of the Monica Lewinsky scandal, WISH-TV reported.
“Wow, you’re the first person actually that’s ever asked me that question in the, I don’t know, 70 college campuses that I’ve now been to and I do not think that’s any of your business,” Clinton responded according to the station.
The crowd at the student union at Butler University applauded, WISH said.That was supposed to be the last question, but Clinton insisted on taking one more question, the report said.
When it was revealed in 1998 that President Bill Clinton had had an affair with Lewinsky, the news set off a protracted drama that led to his impeachment and a failed attempt to remove him from office.

Hillary is probably laughing with delight at how a minor incident like Monica detracts from the truly criminal associations that fill her past. Jose Cabrera is/was a major cocaine kingpin and a major financial supporter of both Clintons, along with numerous Indonesian, and Chinese finaciers with clear ties to organized crime in their respective countries. In our country, let us not forget the Rose Law firm debacle, Vince Foster suicide, etc, etc. Interesting how something like Monica-gate overshadows what is truly revealing and criminal about the Clintons. Stop deceiving yourselves America, if Hillary had 5 or 6 fewer IQ points she’d be locked up in Leavenworth. She’s a felon. Period.

You expect to understand the whole of these candidates by all means necessary, regardless, so Chelsea could have responded, regardless of how painful the question may be. We expect Obama and his campaige to respond and be prepared at all times. Chelsea owes her mom this respect after such a wacko she was in the past. I think the entire Clinton family owes each other something, because they all are a misfit, and do try and make up only have made them look even worser. Just be yourselves and please try harder to do the right thing.

I just want to know your opinion of the criticism that Hillary showed weakness in how she handled the Lewinsky scandal, and that she may not be strong enough to be the President.
Judge for yourself whether it was fair or not, but you should know what the question was.
- Posted by ma317Go, Chelsea! That, at least, is the right answer. I’m not a Clinton fan, but I do believe firmly in keeping the public nose out of private bedrooms. That is where I differ from the GOP supporters who have a prurient interest in finding out and controling what married couples do and how they wash their dirty laundry.

Hillary Clinton is running for the position of most powerful person on the planet, a position paid for by the taxpayers of the United States of America. She is already on the government payroll as a U.S. Senator. For the last year or so, she has been running around the country, at contributors’ and taxpayers’ expense campaigning for the job. In other words, she has been on a job interview.
Now, as one of the 300 million in this country who will be involved in the hiring process, I think it is most certainly my business to know how the next person to get that job is going to conduct himself/herself under fire answering tough questions and making difficult decisions.
As First Lady, she handled her husband’s affair with (1.) denial, (2.) paranoia and then three (3.) political double-talk. How can we believe she respond to the problems of this country any differently?
If anyone has been “blanking” the country, it has been this woman, her husband and their no-holds-barred political machine.
And, now we know her daughter is just like her. A scary thought.
